First of all, no Geto = no 5-star rating.
I liked it overall but I feel like the translation lacked in a lot of places. But I know this will always be a dilemma of all translated books.

The writing style is kind of plain and pales in comparison to the tone of the original manga series, but I believe that's a really tricky balance when trying to write for an existing IP. There isn't much action as well in comparison to the manga, but it feels to me that the descriptions of the characters' moods and exchanges between them were brought to justice by the author.
Granted, I liked how the author fleshed out stories about lesser-focused characters and facets of these characters, like what Gojo does on his day off and what Ijichi's work is actually like, and even a story from Mahito's perspective.

I'm a huge fan of Jujutsu Kaisen and I was very excited to read some short stories following familiar characters, but these light novels were so low quality it actually made me angry. Would not recommend.

I didn't think this would make me as emotional as it did. I loved it and I was happy to be back in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. I can't wait to read more.
