This would absolutely have been a 4 star read for me - as really enjoyed this.
But the sudden rape attempt scene towards the end just came out of nowhere, and for what?

Easy-read but not very intriguing. The plot is very banal and unoriginal, the only extra element is the gods. It was interesting with the setting in Malaysia, and getting to know the culture a bit.
