How come I don't remember the great detective of the west? He looks so cool. I love him.

Jimmy faces off with a new rival detective from Osaka, Harley Hartwell also known as the Great Detective of the West! Jimmy, while suffering a cold, must race to uncover the locked murder mystery of a diplomat before it's too late... The volume covers two full cases (including the diplomat murder) and half of another involving the brutal murder of a medical professor at a ski lodge.
This was just a deeply enjoyable volume with really creative mystery storylines. Plus, the first introduction to Harley! I love the energy he adds to the cases and the dynamics when he makes guest appearances in the different future narratives.

The first case of this volume was so exciting! Loved seeing a certain character again and I’m wracking my brain super hard trying to figure out how it happened. Also loved that we were introduced to a new character. I love him already and can’t wait for his return.
The second case with the kids was a bit lackluster in comparison. It was a decent wind-down though from the tension of the last case.
I’m enjoying the ski-lodge case so far. I honestly have no idea how Conan is going to figure it out.
Overall, it was another good volume.

Hier verwandelt sich Conan zum ersten Mal zurück in Shinichi, was cool ist! Weiterhin ist der Fall ziemlich krass, weil jemand einfach so kaltblütig vor anderen Menschen umbringen ist schon hart. Der Fall im Ski Resort scheint auch spannend zu werden.
