A very poignant emotional audiobook, highly recommended!
Absolutely lovely and heartbreaking in such a beautiful way. I’m so glad he shared their story because I can’t imagine that was easy but it really spoke to my heart.
Oh man, I ugly cried. It's heartbreaking, but honest and truthful, which is sometimes messy and embarrassing. It's snarky and funny, too, just like Ausiello! It's a fast read that really gets you in the end, even though you know it's coming.
Did I ugly sob multiple times? Absolutely. I feel absolutely privileged and honored to have been able to read such a beautiful love story. Mike, thank you for sharing Kit with us.

If I could give this book six stars I would. I listened to the book, read by the author. It definitely enhanced the experience. Knowing how it ended before it began was a new experience for me, so instead of waiting for the other shoe to drop I just enjoyed the story. Well, as best as one can knowing the hero dies. The love shared, with all its idiosyncrasies, and quirks, kept me making me take deep breaths and made my face more animated than it’s ever been during any book I’ve ever read. I think having lived my life (I’m nearly 50), with its magnificent ups and tragic downs tempered my experience and ability to receive this story with maximum impact. Honestly, if I could write a thank you note to the author, I would. I’ll allow this to serve as a thank you. Thank you for reminding me to live the life (I have MS, and it ain’t gettin’ better) I have left with as much gusto as I can possibly manage. Thank you for finding all the nooks and crannies in my heart that I’d forgotten were there. Thank you.
