Every recipe that I have made from the book has been tasty, and delicious. I love that my kids are eating things I thought they never would like lentils in "snobby joes", and the beanballs in the spaghetti are a genius idea. Thank you, thank you Isa Moskowitz!

I don't tend to read recipe books cover to cover. Read all the introductory information though and made some of the delicious recipes.

Veganomicon is one of my all time favorite cookbooks. It is huge and absolutely packed full of great ideas, you could spend years cooking through it! If you pick this up, make sure to try the Chickpea Cutlets, they are amazing and inspired :)

This book came recommended by my local coffee shop hero. A long time vegan, he said he had a truly boring food life because he couldn't cook. He credits this book with teaching him how to make a killer vegan meal.

This is a great book for a beginner, there are sections on how to cook grains or prep/roast different vegetables. I think it's an awesome step in the learning to cook direction.

As someone who is a little more well versed in the ways of the kitchen, I still find this book handy. I've been introducing a lot of vegan/vegetarian meals to my life and admit to just being unwilling to try to "veganize" some of my favorite recipes. This book has definitely helped show me that a dairy and meat free life style can still taste good.

I love everything I've made so far, it's like cooking with your bffs, the recipes are really simple and don't require a ton of fancy ingredients, many are very fast. Delicious foods for omni- and herbivore alike, with a sensible approach to the kitchen and to eating. Yay vegetables!

I heard A LOT of hype about it, but unlike most things that are hyped about, this went way beyond what I expected.
Excellent recipes. Easy to follow. Photos to drool over! A staple of any veggie-friendly kitchen.

The recipes in this book are really good and I was always happy with the end result, but they just take too long to make. Way too long.

Look out world, I'm making the jelly donut cupcakes this week.

I admit I haven't read each recipe word for word... but I read everything else!

This is a fantastic cookbook if you are any of the following, or better yet a combination:
-vegan (not me)
-youngish
-a city dweller (lots of tips for dealing with small spaces and avoiding heavy groceries to carry home)
-health conscious
-interested in trying new foods
-hungry
-a fan of veggies
-a fan of beans
-a fan of baked goods or chocolate

Absolutely amazing. And so witty. I have a BUNCH of recipes marked to try, already.

This cookbook is probably the only reason why I can cook. Make any of these recipes and you'll feel like you can open a restaurant, no problem.
