Amazing, shifted my perspective
I read this book based on a recommendation. It was awful anti feminist bullshit. She maybe makes a couple of good points about the early dating stage, like don’t cancel plans for a man who can’t plan a date, but her advice for once you’re in a relationship is terrible. I would never want to be with any of the men she interviewed, that’s for sure. Her advice is basically, men are stupid babies, and we have to make them think we worship them and then do everything ourselves anyways. Trash garbage.
I was recommended this book by a friend of mine and honestly thought that it would either be full of common sense, 'make sure you don't give a man all your money', or two that it would be completely unrealistic. Neither of those were the case, and I found some of the advice extremely valuable.
As some reviews have stated already, the book is a bit out of date at this point. [a:Sherry Argov|25840|Sherry Argov|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1484004974p2/25840.jpg] often discusses emails and pagers. However, I think the main message of [b:Why Men Love Bitches|9201647|Why Men Love Bitches|Sherry Argov|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1380495094l/9201647._SY75_.jpg|2572759] remains very much relevant to modern life. Be your own person, and allow a partner to be an addition to your already full life. Rather than requiring one to feel complete.

The 'bitch' referred to throughout [b:Why Men Love Bitches|9201647|Why Men Love Bitches|Sherry Argov|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1380495094l/9201647._SY75_.jpg|2572759] is not a mean spirited, nasty person but instead somebody who knows her own self worth. She is not willing to compromise what she values most for the sake of a man. She will make an effort, but she also knows when to stand her ground and when to walk away.As some reviews have stated already, the book is a bit out of date at this point. I found that this book really opened my eyes to dating and the importance of self-confidence. Even though its purpose is to help women in the dating world, what I got from it was that in order to be in a relationship, you have to love YOU first! Such a great message.

the book was very well written, it was poaced as if you are listening to those tiktoks that change your life for a day but i feel like it will stick more because it took more of me to finish the book. tbh there were some advices that were too much for me but i would say a ‘’nice girl’’ needs to read it all so that she herself can put it all into prospective. its an advice that you’ve heard a million times but written in a captivating way that may make it stick so yeah i reccoment!
highly recommend getting a used copy. if your name's linda, you read this in 2019, and you love green highlight markers... girl i hope things got better and that person with the MG initials finally stepped up to the plate

A great to end the year, and start the year. While there were some things I did not agree with. This book gave me a little boost of self confidence that I needed. I cannot say this book is for everyone, but I am sure glad I read it and if I need a little boost of self confidence, I will sure as hell be coming back to look over and re-read parts that helped me.
