half of the book was useful and the other half was just a guide on how to date a man child
Does this method work? Yes it does, unfortunately. I have a problem with advice that asks you to pretend to be something that you are not.
Behind all of the game playing advice is the author's deep seated belief that women be self-loving, self-sufficient and know what they want and not accept anything less than being treated like they deserve to be treated. If you can get down to that kernel, this itself if fantastic advice and words to live by.
So, do yourself a favor and turn to the back of the book and read the 100 'Attraction Principles' listed there. Those are the gist of the whole book and the rest is just fluff and repetition in my opinion.
This will save you plenty of time to move on to more important and more enjoyable books that are probably in your 'to-read' list.

it was funny and maneater-y for a bit but the manipulation strategies got a bit too tiring for me. I don't want to be with an idiot I have to manipulate to get the trash taken out

It is an O.K book for single women. It gives a great prespective in what to look for. However, for someone in a relationship only certain things apply. If you are single read it. If you are in a relationship stay away from it.
