Als ik dit boek zo’n 8 jaar geleden had gehad, dan had me dat een hele hoop liefdesverdriet gescheeld ;). Een makkelijke en grappige schrijfstijl - soms wel heel direct en controversieel - waar je zo doorheen leest. Na 200 pagina’s wist ik het wel, dus de laatste 50 pagina’s heb ik vooral gescand maar kwamen op hetzelfde neer. Ik heb dit boek vooral geprobeerd om ook op vriendschappen te projecteren, en bij veel dingen was ik het er wel mee eens. Er waren wat stukjes waar ik me niet heeeelemaal in kon vinden, maar over het algemeen een interessant boekie

Some things I did disagree with however some of the the information was things my mom have told me over the years. I do think some info was helpful / insightful however i wouldn’t take this book as the end all be all. But it does provide a foundation of how not to lose yourself when a men enters the picture.

Es un libro para tratar con pinzas, considero que al ser un libro tan viejo, incurre en muchas cosas que actualmente no aplican.
Lo leí para poder criticarlo, se sacan muy pocos buenos consejos pero sinceramente no es un libro para todos.
¿Lo recomendaría? Nop, siento que hay libros mejores sin duda alguna.

An ok book with some inspirational pieces that can boost a women’s confidence, but basically related everything back to earning respect from men. I understand its a relationship book but I was hoping it would be even more empowering for women to show them that they should do this for themselves not men.
