I found this book to be slightly slower. A little sad over the end tbh. Love the details and twists.

Summary
The Princess Posse has reached floor 6, The Hunting Grounds. This is the level they’ve been worried about all along and none expected to gVrahhere. Things seem to be starting out alright until they run into a flock of dinosaurs. They have to avoid the dinosaurs, kill the crawler hunters— particularly Vrah, the bug woman who is especially eager to kill Carl--, and still make it to the fanciest, most hyped party of the show’s season.
Review
This isn’t a romance in any way, but I always kind of expected Carl and Katja to hook up so I was a bit bummed that she was drawn away. Still, I think it was best for the storyline. Princess Donut was amazing and wow! Prepentente really showed up and proved himself in this one. I’m sad there are only two more books!

Had a little bit more trouble getting through this one. Again felt transitional. Adding more core characters, wrapping up story lines, and transitioning. I expect the 6th floor to be all hell breaking loose and wilder than it was. I expected the hunters to have more of a role. They felt more background still. I understand this all drives carls political gains and motives but I felt like the hunters could have been stronger. Maybe to have a stronger gang of named hunters rather than one main hunter who was the issues.
