Futaba tries to be in denial about her feelings, but that doesn't last very long. I really appreciate how maturely all of this is handled. Futaba accepts her feelings, and then she understands that she needs to be honest and upfront with Yuri. Despite how dramatic this could have been, it's handled in a really sweet manner. It's a little rough for both of them, but it ends up forming a nice friendship between the three girls.
Of course, it could go either way at this point. Love rivalry can be messy.
Despite how roughly the group started in the previous volume, they've somehow formed a rather close friendship, and they get together to try to help Kou up his grades, even if he protests and tries to keep them away.
It's a little iffy where this is going next, and we're close to where the anime ended, so I'm excited to see how it continues.

A review copy was provided by the publisher, VIZ Media, for an honest review. Thank you so, so much!

Originally a three star read, I bumped it down to two stars because it was kind of a forgetful read. Futaba is now coming to terms with her feelings for Kou and she is acting on them now. I like how Yuri and Futaba are not trying to ruin their friendship over a boy even though they are both getting jealous when one of them is getting closer to Kou and not the other.

I'm not really interested in this whole love triangle thingy because it's super obvious who Kou really likes. I also want Futaba to grow some balls and stop following after Kou all the time especially when he's being moody towards her. As of now, I'm not really feeling the romance between the two.

I need more scenes with Yuri, Murao, and Kominato. I'm enjoying Kominato's budding friendship with Kou and Yuri is just so sweet and adorable. That's my girl! Hopefully the next volume is more entertaining.

So much happened! But the way that Futaba talked to Yuuri about her feelings for Kou and was scared that she'll lose her friend because of it, is so relatable. I'm glad that nothing horrible came from the confession, but it's so sad to see that Yuuri can tell that Kou likes Futaba even when he really won't admit it to anyone. Like that hurts doubly so, I think. Also Murao has serious guts to be pursuing Tanaka-sensei the way she does. But thankfully he's discouraging her feelings.
