Heartstopper Volume 2

Oh thank goodness. I liked this much more than Volume 1.

I was worried that I just wasn't going to like the print series after watching the Netflix adaptation first and swooning and crying and gushing and feeling my heart grow fifty times bigger and then reading the first volume of the comic after and finding it to be just ok.

But again, I liked this volume much more. Whew.

In Volume 2, there is more of an exploration of Nick and Charlie's relationship. There are more "side" characters starting to become relevant. There's a little more conflict but it's careful to not make this about a ton of drama and instead stays mostly adorable. The relationship is developing and it's utterly awwwwww worthy. This one made me tear up, particularly when Nick was coming out to his sweet mom.

This one really tugged on my heartstrings. All longing and lovingness. I loved it and it made me cry I’m not gonna lie.

This is just pure adorableness!
