well… up until around page 400 this book was basically just world building and setting up the main plot. i wouldn’t say it was boring, but it was definitely slower than the original trilogy.

page 450 actually ruined my life. i can’t even talk about what happened, because i will immediately start crying again.
yeah, i am still in denial and probably will be forever, as i just refuse to believe what happened, happened.

the ending… what do you mean. not to say it was kinda anticlimactic but i kinda feel like it was? it was shocking and unexpected, but i feel like it all happened way too quickly.

but as always, pierce brown, you will be paying for my therapy, thanks.

I loved the multiple POV style of this book. Lyria 💕 poor girl. Severo?? ugh. So many "why?"s. I loved this and am so glad there are more. Morning star is still my favorite so far though.
