Even though A Hero's Promise was very short, it was a magnificent story and another great addition to The Culper Ring Series.

I loved reading about the Lane's again and seeing Jack all grown up. I can't wait for Circle of Spies!

A Hero's Promise (The Culper Ring #2.5) by Roseanna M. White – These two are completely dreadful at keeping secrets, but both of them are hip deep in clandestine work for the greater good. What could possibly go wrong? Lol So cute! Happy Reading!

Short novella in between the second and third books. This was free on amazon. It is a great bridge between the two books. Jack is all grown up and is engaged to Thad and Gwen's daughter. Secrets between them threaten to postpone their wedding once again. Will they make it to the alter?

I didn't expect it to be this short... It took me 15 minutes tops... It's quite unremarkable and really I can't stress this enough: too short for anything to happen in it. It's free though and we meet the old gang :)

This short story was amazing. It really got me interested in the whole series. I used the short story as a way to test to see if I liked the writing. I honestly didn't expect to like this story as much as I did.

Clean, historical romance might be more interesting than I originally thought. I plan to read the rest of the series soon.

Very good for being a novella (not my favorite story type).
