4🌶️  well well I was not expecting Luca and Valentina to snatch my that quick. But I loved this story. Luca was so gone for Valentina and I loved how fast he folded once he finally realized. He never missed an opportunity to call Valentina his wife or flaunt that she was his in front of anyone that threatened him. And my goodness Luca the naughty MMC he was all over Valentina and tbh with her hesitation of love that's something she needed. I enjoyed that they had such solid foundation from their working relationship it was so believable that they would transition to a not so fake marriage 😂 I liked that we got a glimpse of grandma bringing down the hammer when the stipulations of the marriages weren't met. I think it was a wonderful thing for our two lovebirds. This was a joy of a read for sure can't wait for the rest of the Windsor's stories!

This book was very similar to the first in the sense that there were high insecurity due to marriage of convenience (although, I guess that’s the whole series in a way). BUT the characters trials and tribulations differed from the first book and, while the MMC family is (in a word and in a way) crazy, watching them overcome it was so satisfying. I was concerned when the characters came together so quickly, but the rest of their story did not disappoint.

Yay! Okay, so I guess I really didn't need to read book 1 to read this one. This book was definitely more my style than the first book.

We get two headstrong individuals who are also both filled with insecurities from past relationships...who end up falling for each other. What starts out as more or less enemies to lovers switches to reluctant allies in a fauxmance to romance.

I absolutely LOVE romance novels that have meddling/matchmaking grandparents...there's just something about them that just takes a romance to an entirely different level.

I'm even more excited to jump into book 3 and see how their romance unfolds!

Such a good book! And the epilogue was absolutely adorable :) I can’t remember the last time I’d read such a cute epilogue.
Luca was downright obsessed with Valentina and I ate it up. Val’s feelings and insecurities were so valid. Both characters had past relationships that made them untrustworthy in their marriage, and they both had insecurities that needed constant reassurance. But by the end of the book they were without a doubt extremely secure in their marriage.

This also made me so excited for the next book which I believe is Dion and Faye. I’m just excited for what’s to come and I should probably read The Wrong Bride as well!
