It's written fine but I just wasn't a huge fan of this one. It's mostly just these guys stealing animals from their native habitats. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

As I expected, being a life long admirer of this incredible man, I loved this book. The three different trips they undertook to acquire such an array of animals was quite the adventure! The pictures included in the book added an extra charm and I also loved the maps at the beginning of each trip. I especially loved the kindness displayed by the many wonderful characters Sir David met along the way.
