Low was an impulse buy at Barnes & Noble after I couldn't find what I was actually looking for, and I'm happy with the buy (for the most part). Let's start with what I liked, the art, the plot, the world. Those three things carried this story. The reason I bought it in the first place was that it gave me Bioshock vibes which is arguably my favorite video game of all time. Needless to say, I bought it without a second thought and it delivered those vibes. However, I docked a star because of the clothing, or lack thereof, of every female character in the story. Like seriously, we have this mother who is fighting for her children's lives and she's in nothing but some measly cloth with her boobs hanging out. The level of sexualization took away from the story, and at times made it blatantly clear that two men came up with the comic. I get it, boobs are awesome, but there is a time and place for the boobs to be on display, one of those times not being when a mother is literally fighting for her long-lost child's life. Overall I will continue with the series, but I have a feeling many boobs are in my future.

Overall a pretty okay comic, I would say the pacing is a little off-putting? I get that it's a comic and it's meant to be a small piece of a bigger story, but the speed of which the plot advances doesn't give the reader a whole lot of detailed information, if any, about what goes on between the time skips. Either way still a decent piece of media
