A profound and indefatigably hopeful piece of literature. Michelle Obama is a consummate storyteller.

She interweaves each memory and insight with purpose in order to reveal a larger message of resilience, hope, kindness, love, and empowerment.

This is a wonderful read.

If listening on audiobook I'd recommend 1.15x speed. :)
Michelle's story is inspiring, empowering, and at times heartbreaking. A true testament to hard work, perseverance, and a desire to help people and how much of an impact one person can have.

Some parts I liked more than others, but overall, Michelle Obama is a truly inspiring human. Especially for women, and of course people of colour.
I interestingly most enjoyed her discussions about motherhood even though I am not a mother myself.
I respect her a lot, and I am grateful she wrote this book.
