I forgot how good this book is.

A little bit more of a quicker read than I remember, but nostalgic nonetheless. I still got swept up in the worlds of these denim-clad friends and I think I’ll actually go ahead and read the entire series this time.

Guilty pleasure...fun beach read
adventurous

A sweet story of the power of female friendship. I love the idea of the traveling pants...wish my friends and I had done something like that!

Enjoyable story of friendship and problems faced by teens. I do get tired of the typical "someone must die" plot device in coming of age stories. Still I think it was all handled sensitively.

Didn’t have the same emotional punch as the others.

Liked it, but really want my daughter to wait before reading it. Quite intense at the end with a fifteen year old having sex with a 19 year old, and really regretting it. She ends up distraught, gives up sports (which was her whole identity) and says, I only catch glimpses of the person I used to be...

I wish more young adult literature was like this!!!

I did not have an opinion on this book. I guess it is because I saw the movie 10 years ago and was not able to separate the book from the movie. There wasn't a huge difference between the two.

If I could go back in time and read this book before I saw the movie I would enjoy it more.
