Revisiting an old favorite! This series was a big deal to my preteen self, and I still love these characters dearly. (Although grown-up me would definitely wash the pants! :')
I liked it, easy reading. I plan on reading the rest of the series.

Maybe because I’ve seen the movies and I liked them so much, maybe why I didn’t like the book. I did like how short it was though.

This was a very cute and fast read, and I loved the characters friendship and how that was the main focus of the book. I did have a couple issues with certain relationship dynamics, or how quickly things got resolved for issues that I think should’ve had more time before resolution. But besides that and some blatant fat phobia and subtle racism, the book was enjoyable overall.
This book is truly amazing.
It has beautiful but shy Lena, confident but reckless Bridget, comforting but irrational Carmen, and rational but pessimistic Tibby. The four friends were exactly like the four girls in my sisterhood when I started reading this book. Before we lost our Bridget anyways. But I felt like I could relate to all four of the girls. It was just so good and it taught such a wonderful lesson at the end. ♥

Darker and sadder than the movie, who could’ve guessed. It wasn’t as satisfying of a read as I thought it was going to be, but it was still good-ish
UGH so good!! This book is so nostalgic and sweet I didn’t think i’d reread it, but i’m so glad i did☺️
