Seriously. This books was sooooo GOOD! I love the way Emily McIntire incorporated the characters from one of my favorite movies as a kid (Peter Pan). And as much as I enjoy the nostalgic feeling I get when watching the Disney movie… my adult heart NEEDED this rendition. The spice, the suspense, the drama, THE CRAZY PLOT TWIST! You just HAVE to read this book!

I've wanted to read this forever. Finally, I've done it. I loved Peter Pan as a kid, and while I didn't have an affinity for Hook then, I can definitely see how he was wronged.
And the inspiration of this, I loved seeing the 'villain' getting his turn to be the main guy.
James 'Hook' Barrie was well written, and I enjoyed his character arc. And i quite liked seeing the characters from a beloved movie in new roles, and Peter Pan being the villain as he was originally.
