My favourite so far in the What If Disney series. A truley unique tale on Disney's version of Aladdin. The same characters, tweaked just so that make me want so much more.
I wasn't expecting to like this so much, nor was I expecting all the twist and turns but good book!

So I though this book was ok. I think the ending could have been better. SPOILERS…..Like let the genie keep his magic and let Jar be a snake. I just think the last few chapters were rushed and haphazard. It ruin the book for me. The zombies were overkill.
What I did like was that Jasmine came into her own. She was naive but became a queen. That’s good.
25% of the book is literally word for word of the Disney movie. It was fun hearing the characters’ voices in my head as I read along. I really miss Robin Williams. But then the twist just took it to a weird place.
It was too young for teenage and adult readers. There wasn’t enough action or anything to keep me invested. I did finish just to see how they would end it and was very disappointed

This was an interesting take on this Disney story. I’m glad Jasmine had more of a part in this Twisted Tale, but I missed the magic that wasn’t a part of this book.
It wasn’t a “twisted” enough story yet. It felt like I was just listening to the animated movie and felt like a waste of time. I was not the right reader for this book. I just didn’t care to continue.
