This book was beautiful. Whether Frey lied about facts or not, both "A Million Little Pieces" and "My Friend Leonard" were brilliant books and should be taken as that. Memoirs and categories of books is rubbish. I take a book for it's content not wether it's true or what genre it comes under. This book captured my heart even though I knew some of it was a lie before I read it. Deserves 5 stars but I give it a high 4 because the writing style and the way it was split up didn't suite. However both books were ended beautifully.

Great story line about overcoming hardships. James Frey has a very unique style of writing, but sometimes can be hard to follow.

This is the sequel to A Million Little Pieces and picks up a little while after A Million Little Pieces leaves off. This book made me cry over and over again (sometimes I still cry thinking about it). It focuses on James's realtionship with Leonard and James's quest to stay sober in a world filled with all the things he isn't supposed to touch. James faces many more life changing experiences in this book and I just loved going through it with him. SUCH an amazing book.

definitely on the same level as A Million Little Pieces.

This was definitely an interesting book. I couldn't really relate to the main character because of the difference in age and all his issues (which I fortunately don't have), but I did like his character. This book is almost non-fiction, but not entirely, since the writer changed some of the details about his life. This book was unlike any book I've ever read, and it really pushed me to broaden my horizons.

Beautifully written and heart wrenching. A riot start to finish.
