A strange little book, I felt; still, since it was published in 1688... No chapterisation, which made it rather difficult to read, because I tended to keep going until I could manage no longer, which gave an overall feeling of exhaustion to my enjoyment.

An interesting story, however, and I could see this being made into a film quite easily: some of the characters seemed slightly two-dimensional, but the whole seemed very visual.
