Genuinely just a sweet little book with some nice anecdotes. There’s little in the way of overarching narrative; the book isn’t seeking to tell an overall story, just to give a series of examples to get across the point that cows have lives and minds as complex as those of humans. Because the book is so short and snappy, there isn’t time to get bored or fed up with the style. And the lovely drawings throughout were so lovely.
