Plays definitely still count towards the yearly reading goal, right?

Honestly wasn't a fan. It was SO intense, there was so much on stage trauma happening all the time. And it would be SO much for all the actors to have to deal with and grapple with on stage and off. Wow.

but it was a great pace, well written, just not my style. Killer Joe was true to his name, and he was gross.

Fascinating and fucking mental.

3 or 4 stars. Well written. Engaging. I think I'm grading it low because I have high expectations for his other plays.

Wow, that was a lot. At no point was I able to guess what would happen next. I had many guesses for where the play was headed but got almost none right.

Omg the ketchup involved in this staging…
