The way I screamed when I realized the Cadell family had a daughter and to find out she's a sweetheart and also protective of her man was just absolutely amazing! Granted the way they met wasn't the best but they sure made the best out of a crappy situation and the love they have for one another is just the best. Being able to see Fayla come out of her shell by the end of the book was the best honestly. Fayla and Sebastian found their forever person in sad circumstances but the love they had for each other even while in denial was such a sweet moment to be able to read. I teared up when I saw that the epilogue was a year from when the last chapter ended because I didn't want to say goodbye to their family but it was time since they all had their happily ever after. Thank you for these past few months of joy, screaming, and a bit of tears with the Cadell family, they'll forever be in my heart <3.
