This was a super fun who-done-it by Aimee Carter. Evan is the illegitimate daughter of the King of England. After getting expelled from the last of many boarding schools, she is sent to England until things are sorted out. Not only is she unexpected, she is unwelcome. After getting tangled up in a murder, Evan has to figure out who is on her side and who isn't. Definately recommended.

It’s giving Gossip Girl meets What a Girl Wants meets The Royals. So many little twists and turns that kept you guessing until the end! This book was so enjoyable and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Got hooked and stayed up late reading so I could finish this in half a day. Really enjoyed it!

I absolutely loved this book! I was grabbed from the first pages and couldn't put it down until I finished it.

I am a total sucker for the Royalty trope. But honestly, Evan was different. She actually responded in a very real way. Or at least real to me, because I would have responded to most of the situations in the exact same way. Additionally, Carter got it so right in the nuances of the story. She knows how to take a situation or a belief and flip it, giving us other viewpoints, thus changing how we see the situation/belief.

I just really loved Carter's vision of this trope. Can't wait to read future installments.
