This story starts with an angsty teen rebellion, but Evangeline Bright is much more than that. She’s been expelled from 9 boarding schools over 6 years, her father is the King of England and her whole life she’s been King Alexander’s illegitimate secret. After her untimely dismissal from boarding school she’s going to England to meet her father for the first time in her memory. Evan/Evie/Evangeline must overcome many obstacles, personal and public, including a murder where she becomes the leading suspect. This story is really good and I would definitely recommend.

Love this book! Evan isn’t a brat, is new to the royal family and there is a mystery to solve as well. Fresh story, finished it in a day, can’t wait for book 2!
