4.5 stars Excellent expose on the story behind the New York Times story on Harvey Weinstein and Ford testimony . Totally engaging account demonstrating what good journalism is. In the same vein as Spotlight breaking open years of systematic abuse but by an individual in the movie industry. A must read.

Incredibly engaging for a nonfiction. The book was so well written I could feel the desperation through the words, and was eager to know what the next page would read, even after already having seen the movie. This is something I believe everyone should read this, as we need to continue to show the courage represented by these women!!

It's frustrating to read about how difficult it was (and still is, as it's ongoing) to bring a horrible person to justice, how the deck is so stacked against it. I'm so grateful that a light has been shone on the mechanisms that perpetuate sexual assault and sexual harassment. Kantor and Twohey walk the reader through the process of breaking the story, and it's a very interesting look at how journalism works.
