This is my favorite book so far. It’s so emotional and so many things are revealed, and it just breaks your heart. Manan is a favorite of mine and I love Aedion.

The emotional journey Celaena goes through in this book is so good. I feel like I was on a rollercoaster in the best way. The side characters feel like main characters as we dig deeper into their stories. I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here.

“I will follow you to whatever end.”

This is easily my favorite in the series so far, I absolutely loved it. Heir of Fire follows Celaena on a self-discovery journey on one of her missions from the King of Adarlan. Her growth was incredible to watch unfold; she’s gone through so much in her lifetime and I love seeing her finding herself and starting the path to healing in this book.

I really like how the story is told and switches back and forth from three different perspectives. We get to see Celaena’s, of course, but also Chaol/Dorian’s and new character- Manon’s. I love all the characters and their dynamics. The storyline is super exciting and action-packed. So excited to continue the series.

The witches and wyverns in this story are a super cool addition! And finallllly getting to meet Rowan! I looove his character so much and can’t wait to see where it leads.

The deeper I get in this series, the more I'm enjoying it! Definitely a grows-on-you situation over here, especially because, with time, it is easier to follow the characters, their histories, and the magic system. I'm anxious to continue reading now!

Omg! Did this series get REALLY good!!! Sarah J Maas seems to start her series off simple with minimum characters & world building & their good. But once she’s a book or 2 in, she like let’s loose! Quadruples the amount of characters, makes the world so much bigger, and just lets all the drama and problems unfold. & I have to say it is a brilliant strategy. You don’t necessarily get fully hooked to the story in the beginning, but she’s not throwing a lot of stuff at you at once. If I started this book without having already known some of the characters, I don’t know if I would have been able to follow along and remember who all the players are. But having been brought into the story slowly, I followed it so easy, and I am thankful for that!
This book was incredible! I can’t wait for the rest of the series & to hopefully meet even more amazing characters!

I really loved Rowan and Aelin’s relationship and felt it was a nice change of pace compared to her past relationships in the books so far.

I’m sooooo irritated that Soracha died, Aedion and Dorian have been captured, and yet Chaol gets to leave to find her???? Chaol sucks, like he is actively the person I care least about and now he’s in charge of saving them????? Can’t wait to see how that goes bc it’s giving redemption arc.
