This is a sweet read about Lorelei deciding to spend December in the small town of Oakvale where they embrace Christmas and it's perfect for her to dip her toes in the life of a small town doctor while looking after her Uncles practice and enjoying her first Christmas with her sweet wee girl Mary Ann. What Lorelei doesn't expect is Tyler and the how the town welcomes her into the fold and has her falling in love with not just the town. Both Lorelei and Tyler have expectations of them on where their careers should go and neither want to speak up and put their foot down, which has you hoping with how well they get along they will give each other the strength to finally do what they have always wanted and a bit of love thrown in doesn't hurt either. You get romance, cute kids and dogs, a town that cares, meddling family and an unexpected romance between two people who deserve a HEA.

When you suffer from chronic migraines, life can get depressing sometimes. The pain just becomes unbearable and you start to lose the joy you get from simple things, in my case, reading. It can be a hard road to lead.

Have no fear though, that’s where authors like Savannah come in. Savannah is truly a wonderful human, she also happens to write incredible books that put smiles back on your face. She is also a dog lover and I adore her social media posts involving her dog Ransom and newest, MacGyver.

The Christmas Rental was everything I needed, wanted and more. The writing and story were perfect and after reading the first couple of chapters, I was ready to move to the sweet town of Oakvale, Minnesota (and I don’t do snow!). Lorelei and her baby daughter, Mary Anne come to Oakvale to rent her uncles home for the month of December, while also covering her uncles small doctors office. Lorelei is tired of the always busy and hectic life she leads as an emergency room physician. She sees this as a vacation but, it quickly becomes a life she desperately desires. Tyler, the town bowling alley/real estate agent is also in the same predicament. Together they work together to make those dreams become realities.

Absolutely a wonderful read. Savannah, you outdid yourself again. Thank you for this review copy, the extra little cutsies made it feel even more Christmasy and fun. Highly highly recommend this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Grab it on October 19 for your reading pleasure. If you’re anything like me, you’ll read it fast.

A great “hallmark movie” in a book!

Was a great read for the holidays. As someone who tries not to watch TV too much, it gave me all the feels of a hallmark movie.
