The book is a bit slow, but certainly interesting enough to keep reading. If you’re not into inflicted pain or historic torture methods, I don’t recommend this. The characters will keep you invested and either loving or hating them.

5 stars isn't enough. Despite seeing this movie dozens of times, this book was extremely captivating and emotional.
