The book is a bit slow, but certainly interesting enough to keep reading. If you’re not into inflicted pain or historic torture methods, I don’t recommend this. The characters will keep you invested and either loving or hating them.

Having never seen the film or read the book prior I didn’t know what to expect. But my god it was so good! I’m so glad I read it before deciding the watch the film. This might just be my favourite King book
