With Oppenheimer winning Best Picture, it's a great time to re-read this incredible play, which does so much more with so much less. It runs an intense gamut of topics, including politics, physics, morality, war, and scientific advancement. It was fascinating and intense, and an absolute joy to revisit.

My opinion on this book is likely very tainted, as I had to read it for a class. Some of it was interesting, but I think reading it in the play format wouldn't compare to actually seeing this staged.

a book about physics and walking, sign me tf up.

No but now for real, I am a huge sucker for plays. I have always loved analyzing these the most. And especially plays with historical real figures, Maria Stuart by Schiller is one of my favs for a reason.

This one takes us on a journey to the afterlife. And I loved every second of it. The unclear red thread throughout the whole story, the conflicts, the protagonists. I really enjoyed it all.

The work really touches on some amazing topics. The sense of self in conflict, the concept of loyalty, the insane things we do for the need to finish our own self prescribed destiny. And for me most interestingly: the concept of truth. We all know the difference between subjective truths and the real truth. But also, does a real truth even exist for human interactions? Aren’t human interactions in key dependent on the subjectivity of the interaction and all relating factors? A wonderful thing to think about.

A wonderful reading experience, beautifully written dialogue and a gripping storyline which left me thinking even days after I’ve finished it

This was wonderful. I really liked how they're in a way outside observers that can move through time and revisit events, look at them from different points of view. Also loved the parallels between science and "real life", even if I some of the more scientific stuff flew over my head. I want to reread it and read the postscript, I hope I can find the time. To find out what really happened and what was fiction. Have to listen to the BBC Radio 3 adaptation as well.

Vale, técnicamente no me lo he leido, pero he ido a ver la obra de teatro en versión de Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, Carlos Hipólito y Malena Gutiérrez y todavía estoy flipando.
Se trata de una obra maravillosa que pone a prueba la inteligencia y la cultura del espectador alejándose completamente de ese mínimo común denoninador que parece dominar las expresiones culturales de la actualidadPeter Bogdanovich. [a:Michael Frayn|57501|Michael Frayn|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1230345003p2/57501.jpg], a quien ya reverenciaba como autor de la magnífica farsa [b:Noises Off|160194|Noises Off|Michael Frayn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1320486520l/160194._SY75_.jpg|746005] que llevara al cine Peter Bogdanovich; demuestra una comprensión absoluta de los entresijos de la física atómica y de la situación histórica que propició la reunión de Bohr y Heisenberg en Copenhague y despliega un alarde de posibilidades e interpretaciones sobre la reunión en un juego filosófico de increíble alcance.
Y, aunque no parece corresponder a esta plataforma, la interpretacion de los antedichos actores es algo que recordaré mucho tiempo.
