Really excellent collection of stories that focuses a lot on feeling stagnant and in between. It is heavily inspired by experiences that those from immigrant families experience, so it didn’t always hit for me, but I can still appreciate those feelings. Overall really really great and poignant, great collection for an in between read.

Not my thing. I found it quite boring and all the stories eventually bled into each other and it felt as though the book was repeating itself

This book is woah. The weave between real and surreal and fiction and nonfiction is smooth, intricate, and deeply and disturbingly believable. Short stories is a form that harkens endings that come too soon and the author is a true master of the form.
