I swooned SO HARD over Cole’s supportive, patient, kind, protective & understanding nature (his dirty mouth, & ability to shower Eve with praise was an added sexy bonus). Their relationship is 100% goals.

With each new book I read that takes place in Heston Lake, I fall in love with this fictional town even more. For the most part everyone is friendly, expect for Eve's ex-boyfriend. He was a coward the way he broke up with Eve. Eve is to better off without him as he is a douche.
As soon as Cole came into the picture, I feel in love with him again. Right away there was instant chemistry between Cole and Eve. So, it is no surprise that they both matched with each other on the dating app. Which I love their App usernames, CraftyCutie and MightyPuck.
Despite these two sharing chemistry, it was a slow burn romance. That is because they thought what they could become was forbidden. Once, they gave into their feelings, it was fast and furious. Ooh, they steamy goodness!

For me, this story is a welcome to Heston Lake. Now, after visiting, I look forward to learning about all of the other delightful hockey boys and town residents!
Brother’s best friend is always a trope that I will gobble up and Matching All the Way delivered on the goods. There’s plenty of tension both with the fact that Cole is her brother’s best friend, but also that he’s currently working with Eve’s father in a job that he loves. This makes for quite the awkward position to build a relationship with.
if I had to choose something that I didn’t love as much, there did seem to be a LOT of spicy scenes. I know, I know, spicy scenes should be expected when reading spicy romances right? And I love them, I do, but there were just a large number of them. I would have liked some more intimate moments that didn’t contain sex between Cole and Eve.
Now, that being said, if anyone was going to have spicy scenes, Cole is the book guy to do it. The man has quite a mouth on him and if you want to blush from some book quotes, Cole is who you should turn to!
Overall, this book had a cute story with a lot of lengthy pining through the years and a decent amount of cute moments of support between them. I enjoyed it and would recommend it for anyone who likes the tropes of secret relationship and brother’s best friend.
