I don’t think I’ve ever read a book as sweet as this one. The characters were so loveable and precious to me that I couldn’t go a page without smiling at their interactions. This is a new comfort read for me and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends.

The blatant fatphobia and fat shaming is frankly gross. Even in a fantasy world we have to hate date people - over it.

It was more than fifty pages of drawn out bureaucracy and a chronic worrywart. This book was so highly recommended and I love queer chosen family but the MC annoyed me too much to continue.

Lovely story about found family and courage to stand up for yourself and others. Found myself laughing at several of the interactions and enjoying the story which mainly focuses on character building of children in a orphanage for magical children. I highly recommend listening on audiobook if you are able that narrator does fun voices for the different characters.
