A chapter on forgotten heroes includes the black soldiers, which I really appreciated. There was so much information in this book that makes it shelf-worthy. (it's a keeper)
The quality is amazing, but we're keeping it for the knowledge.

Quite frankly, I don't even remember requesting this from the library, but apparently I did so then of course I had to read it. It was an easy enough read, with some interesting information. There were some things I learned, like Rhode Island wanted nothing to do with the Constitution. There were some things I knew, like the war permanently damaged Ben Franklin's relationship with his son. There were some things I remembered that I had forgotten, like Shay's Rebellion and the Whiskey Rebellion. Much like Caesar, I learned, I knew, I remembered.

The information is interesting but it’s a slow read.

Not a bad, I enjoyed it. Most of the information in there I already knew. I did learn new information about the lone ranger.
