Amusing, but quite fluffy. Main character is charming, but often silly.
I'm free. The worst trash, the worst couple. Even Feyre and Rhysand is better than this crap.
This book was exactly what you are looking for when you pick up a Meg Cabot book -- light, fun, endearing and total escapism.
Lizzie Nichols is finally getting married. She is ecstatic that the man of her dreams has proposed and that her living situation, as well as her career, finally are going in the right direction. However, when it comes to starting to plan her own wedding she seems to have little time while helping others prepare for their big days. Things get complicated when Luke needs to spend the summer in Paris and the owners of the shop she is working at are unable to continue to work because of a medical condition. As things begin to slowly start turning badly for Lizzie she must rethink her plans and her priorities and find what will truly make her happy.
I gave this one 3.5 stars. I liked the whole series overall as a light summer read when I needed a romantic comedy. One complaint I have is that the author seemed to change the character of Luke too drastically from the first book to the third book seems completely different. Almost too drastic of a change. I will probably take a break from Meg Cabot for a while. This is the third series I have read of hers and I feel I might need to broaden my horizons.

This is the third in the series that I'm reading in one fell swoop and it's the perfect ending. Lizzie is still in New York City, and she's in conflict about just about everything; from her job to her family to her relationships. Everything comes together in a perfect but believable way so that Lizzie gets the HEA we romance readers love. This is a go-to feel-good series for me. Love it.
Another great series from Meg Cabot! Lizzie in this reminds me of Mia in The Princess Diaries (a favourite series of mine) so I was bound to enjoy this series and I definitely did!

Everything that made the earlier books in the series is overdone and trite in this one. I mean, HOW many times do we have to read that Lizzie chokes on her drink? The thesis and wedding gown advice were cute before, but here every single chapter has THREE non-storyline pieces. It's just too much. The book drags more than the others and everyone just seems miserable. The writing is more sloppy than I'd expect from Meg Cabot.
