Probably my favorite of the Queen of Babble series. Lizzie has to choose between marrying Luke (who we meet as Mr. Right in the first Queen of Babble book) and doing what is right for her...
I liked that we actually saw some internal struggle on the part of Lizzie in making the choices that she did here. That for me is what made this my favorite of the series.

The last book on this trilogy and I'm happy that I finished it. It's my first new adult series from Meg Cabot. I'm very happy with the end, the way Lizzie turned out to be. I know some people can't connect or understand the story from this last book, but I did and I really liked it.
A good quick read....though it did start off mid-story which was a bit hard to follow given I Hadn't read the earlier book
Cabot surprised me a bit with this series, but I really enjoyed watching Lizzie grow and change. I was happy she finally opened her eyes and was able to see people without her rose colored filter, and I loved knowing that Lizzie was heading for a great future.

At the end of the second book, Lizzie is engaged to Luke. In this book, Lizzie really comes into her own. She starts her own business and realizes true love but not with Luke. Definitely a fun read!
Loving the ending, although I wish we had an actual wedding, or rather, an elopement, than just a certificate. I wish they'd tell at least someone, but at least they're married. I have to say, I never thought Lizzie/Chaz would make a good couple--until I read the exerpt for the book. They are so much better than her and Luke, who really is just great looking and didn't give her any freedom, responsibility, or anything. Chaz is outpsoken and has his morals and beliefs and he sticks to them. He's all around a better, sweeter guy, and I'm really glad they ended up together.
The character of Ava Geck was the most annoying thing in the universe.
I really didn't see Tiffany ending up pregnant, that was too random to be plausible.
Loved that Lizzie finally got her own place.
Really didn't like that Gran died, that was sad, but again, somewhat predictable.
*sigh* Those two lines, "I think I'm in love with my fiance's best friend" "So, I've got it worse, I'm in love with my best friend's fiance" were just the sweetest line sin the entire book. Chaz, you adorable sap!
Loved it overall. Wish there was a sequel or at least an epilogue, a peek into what married life was like for them, and if it lasted.
I just think that with all this stuff about marriage, she at least deserved a wedding. I suppose Meg might have done it like this for the irony, but I don't think it worked all that well. Lizzie needed her own wedding, darn it!
Ah well. Still amazing <3 Good riddance to Luke. Chaz's phone call to him was PRICELESS.
Wish we'd seen more of Shari and more of her thoughts on the Lizzie/Chaz hookup, since she and Chaz claimed to be such close friends, wouldn't she have a much, much stronger reaction?

Oh, and one last thing, I dislike the title. She DOESN'T get hitched, at least not through the course of the book. Meg really should have picked a more fitting title, more about choice than marriage.

Not as smooth as the first two in the series. Lots of plot elements felt forced and inconsistent with previously established characters.
