If "An Absolutely Remarkable Thing" was an introduction to this story, "A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor" was the finale of a fever dream. This was told through multiple perspectives and took quite a bit of exposition to get into the "action" of the story. The characters were very well written and had tangible flaws that made them feel very real.

Easily one of my favorite reads of this year.  A little long winded at times, but still so captivating. This is one of the first books in a long time that actually shocked me

The best part of this book was when it was taking place in South Jersey (southern New Jersey, USA) because the author captured it so perfectly!!!

WOW. Wow, wow, wow. This was such an superb sequel. It did take me a bit to get fully into, but I think it's a slow burn kind of book - at least for me - and that didn't make it any less enjoyable. It is a damning indictment on the way we allow technology to control our lives more and more, and how we all have blindspots where attention and being liked or admired is considered. And it was also a story of hope, of how through connection and community, we can avoid destroying humanity. So good. So, so good.
