Molto carino.

I’ll admit that this took a while for me to get into it, but once the brothers start getting into the mythological elements of the setting, the story really takes off. Rick Spears gives the story some great twists, and several characters who seem like throwaways pop back up with new relevance. It’s not my usual cup of tea where comics are concerned, but it made for a good read.

Ja!

Y tus perros y tu novia estén dormidos.

Kitties

This book is extremely metal. The twin tween protagonists start off as black metal versions of Wednesday Addams but the book gets more serious in tone as it goes along. A lot of the core of the book is lampooning how black metal takes itself far too seriously, kind of like Metalocalypse. It eventually falls prey to that same seriousness itself. Still thoroughly enjoyable and I'm glad that I have a signed copy.

Interesting read that seems to avoid taking itself too seriously for the first half. Unfortunately, mid-way through the tone shifts - as if Spears became so involved in the telling of the story that he forgot to maintain the tongue-and-cheekiness that made it a far more endearing read.
