Perfect material for dissertation research but also incredibly engaging. Should be compulsory reading for everyone esp those in the tech spaces!!!!

Really accessible and frankly brilliant.

Great book On how surveillance and blackness intersect and evolve over time. This had helped me realize an enormous characteristic of the black experience and black life is being watched. From slavery, to now with biometric data. As technology, goals and agendas evolve, surveillance will also evolve and in some capacity will affect black life.

This book was thought provoking and powerful. Wish I could fit it into one of my courses! I think this would make a good follow-up for students after reading Race After Technology.
