Jenner and Evie’s story broke me, took me on a roller coaster ride and then healed my heart. I couldn’t put this book down. Right from the start; the tears started and came in waves right until the very end.
This second chance romance was so beautifully written. Jenner is absolutely perfect! While he still has his faults, his attentiveness, devotion and love for Evie made me love his character even more. As for Evie, you can’t help but want to reach out and give her a hug. She’s so strong even she doesn’t feel it. I loved the way Jenner cared for her, validated her feelings while navigating his own. It was absolutely mesmerizing to read a man love his plus size woman the way Jenner did.
While this book covered very sensitive topics, I felt like they were portrayed with absolute respect, honesty and compassion. You could feel their emotions, struggles and heartaches while reading. As always, please check the triggers warnings before reading.

Second chance romance and pregnancy trope might be my my two least favorite trope so what kind of magic is this book that I absolutely loved it?!?! I felt so emotionally attached to these characters. The story was heartbreaking and beautiful. This can be read as a stand-alone but heck the whole series is great so start at the beginning!
Jenner - he is the reason some men are written and not real. It is rare to read a book with a MMC that is so selfless, supportive and just down right amazing.
Evie - she is one of the most determined FMC I have ever read. She wants something so badly she manifests it. She is so loving.
