Absolutely adorable. I loved that this author combined work life stress into a cute and fun romance. The chapter names weather puns were also a great touch. This story did a great job of incorporating mental health, body image, and tough relationships into a story that was able to stay light and fun for the most part. I am really glad I read this story and also enjoyed the small touches of Jewish representation the author added into the book!

This book was very cute.

I really like Russell, I wouldโ€™ve liked to see more about him. Like his home life and daughter, felt like that was missing.

This is the first book I'm reading that the guy is the plus size one and I didn't hate it at all. I liked how she explained delicate topics like estranged relationships with your parents and depression

Thank you, Rachel Lynn Soloman, for this book. I related to Ari so much. It's refreshing to read a story that has a character that is working through depression and anxiety in a healthy way. I really appreciated the positive look on taking medicine to help better your mental. It really made me feel good knowing that others understand & experience the way my mind works.

The workplace romance was top notch. That make-out session in the sports office. *fans face* yes, please! Seriously, the chemistry between Russell and Ari was perfection. We are here for the natural progression from coworkers to lovers.

Speaking of workplace, it was so much fun being able to read about the news industry in a romance! The accuracy!!! Love love love. The small lingo she dropped into the plot was everything. When she mentioned "chyron" into the story, I perked up & was beyond excited. I loved being able to see my profession through another person's eyes. I'm going to have to recommend this to the weather girls I know, I think that they would love love love this book.

Don't even get me started on how adorable Russell is. He's just the best. He will live rent-free in your heart, guaranteed.

I will say the audiobook was just alright. I thought that the moments where Ari experienced depression and anxiety they didn't translate to the reader well. There are books that have mental health representation, and when I listen to the narrator, I can feel myself experiencing similar emotions to the characters. It didn't happen to me personally when I was listening to Sarah Mollo-Christensens performance. I did love listening to her voice, though. I rarely wanted to stop listening and caught myself continuing to listen until my headphones died. I think she could have brought a little more to her performance but it was still an enjoyable experience.
