words cannot even describe how im feeling rn
its the biggest mix of sadness, hopefulness and warmth
“its just a story about a guy who asks a girk to date him cuz he was dared to and she accepts under 3 conditions, one being that he doesn’t fall in love with her” um yeah why did i tear up like 3-4 times… the writing is so beautiful but at the same time very simple? like a lot of it is told in the present and the main literary device used would be imagery about the environment mainly
but for some reasons , while reading i truly felt like i was there, in japan with the cherry blossoms and i related with main characters
i also feel like this book is also inspirational in a way? like in a don’t take things for granted way
i think also hino’s case was really interesting to read about because a someone who took a psych class, i knew most of the info in the book and felt like i could understand her character better
hino and tooru are literally my kids don’t talk to me while i go cry
basically this kinda feels reminscient of the whole your name/your lie in april/ i want to eat your pancreas but litt in book form

A touching love story that tugs at your heart strings towards the end. I dare say this rivals I want to eat your pancreas by Yoru Sumino. 5 out of 5 stars
