I love Ms. Marvel. Book Two, while not as good as Book One, in my opinion, was still amazing. I'm glad that she now knows her origins as an Inhuman. I'm interested to see how that plays out with her family when they inevitably find out what she's been up to. Wolverine was a treasure. I love that guy :) And immediately following that, LOCKJAW!!! :D His introduction and inclusion was by far my absolute favorite thing about the entire book. I hope Kamala gets to keep him. I know he technically belongs to Queen Medusa, but I really want him to be Kamala's dog now :) I found the inventor storyline a little confusing for a while, because I wasn't entirely sure if the bird was being controlled by the Inventor, or WAS the Inventor, but that could have just been me missing vital info and nothing to do with the book. It became far clearer as the story went on at any rate, so no harm, no foul. I'm really excited to see what's next for Kamala Khan! :)

I liked it. Parts were a little confusing since it has been so long since I read the first volume, but it wasn't bad. I think my main complaint is that this one wasn't as personal... I get it's a superhero comic, but I like getting to know Kamala, her family, and her friends. I like the little inside jokes and bits of pop culture thrown in. Wolverine was interesting... but didn't really seem like Wolverine. Will see how volume 3 goes and decide if I will carry on from there!

5 stars.
This was so much better than the first volume!!! I loved everything - the cameos, plot, and, of course, the art style. Highly recommend this one.

Wolverine and Captain America both pop up in this volume! I like Kamala and her idealistic nerd awesomeness. This is a fun series and I look forward to reading the next volume.

So, I'll say, now quite as good as volume 1, but it still leaves me squirming to read volume 3!

Kamala Kahn--aka Ms. Marvel--continues her work protecting Jersey City. During a chance run-in with Wolverine, she's given not only some good advice on being a hero, but her own sidekick, the MASSIVE dog, Lockjaw. The two head off to discover the plots of The Inventor, and, hopefully, a way for Kamala to keep Lockjaw, despite him not being pak (pure) and forbidden from the house.

Kamala is refreshing, being such a well-adjusted hero. She's silly and a bit brash, but she doesn't angst. And the people about her are also quite upbeat. Even Sheikh Abdullah, whom her parents insist she speak with, is very understanding of Kamala. It's just quite nice to finish a comic and be cheery, rather than bemoaning the human condition.
