This is a hook up to more romance, featuring Liam and Sebastian, and is book one in the Boys Of Apartment 13 series.
Liam is a college student, a baseball player and straight. He finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him but instead of confronting her, he just ends their relationship. It’s not long after this that he spots Sebastian, one of the personal trainers, at the gym and starts crushing hard on him.
They end up hooking up but Sebastian dismisses Liam right after as that’s what he has always done after hook ups, which leaves Liam a little rejected. But when Sebastian sees Liam at the gym again, he is undoubtedly still a little intrigued with Liam and goes out of his way to cross paths with him.
This book is pretty low angst but high heat and spice. Hooley Dooley! Liam and his pillow princess ways, his ESDs (IYKYK) and neediness, Sebastian and his grumpiness, desire to take control and not let anyone in, oddly they are a perfect match. The relationship development and growth in their feelings was so well written and I just loved how Liam worked his way into Sebastian’s heart. I didn’t really like Liam’s ex but by the end those feelings lessoned.
I am extremely interested to continue with this series. The work done to establish other characters has definitely left me with wanting more.
