I remember being more confused as to what was going on the first time I read this. Maybe I'm misremembering from some other volume. I particularly like the one off stories about stories since that is the foundation of what The Sandman is. The fleshing out of the Endless family was also a highlight. All of the stories that bring more of them together were always great.
