Una fantastica raccolta di racconti agghiaccianti. Sogno è meraviglioso in queste storie, e Desiderio credo sia uno dei miei Eterni preferiti. Il quarto racconto è eccellente.

I feel like the Sandman has interesting ideas, but are muddled by the unclear art and slightly bloated text. I was intrigued by the serial killer convention, though. Other than that, volume 2 was another confusing experience.

You can say a lot about this, but you can also just say that it definitely deserves the good publicity, that the themes and characters really do cover every conceivable variety of the humanly and inhumanly conceivable (i.e. dreamable), and that Gaiman and the whole crew have done a very good job of getting the most out of the genre, the medium, and the ideas that go into it. Not to everyone's taste, especially since there is brutality and terror in just about every story, but still a recommendation for all friends of his work, comic noir lovers and Poe, Lovecraft & Consorts admirers.

Obsessed with this series, my only "complaint" is that some of the content was a tad too disturbing for me but that's to be expected from a horror comic, I loved the artwork a lot more than Vol 1, especially in Part 1, and the storyline is just as good as the first volume, looking back I also really appreciate how the Netflix adaptation brought the 2 volumes together
